Rare Male Slash Exchange 2022 Dear Author Letter

Hello, author, and thank you for considering my request! I am so excited to see more of any of these pairings; please take the following ship-specific material if it’s helpful, and I look forward to seeing your gift. :)
I’ll restate my general likes/DNWs, for reference.

Likes: first and second person POV, bed-sharing, stuck in a room/working together, body-part kinks (hand, foot, armpit, etc.), impotence/sexual dysfunction, cuddling, lush descriptions of bodies and clothing, loyalty, strong and deeply-felt relationships, bad characters shown as both bad and mundane/regular people, quiet moments of everyday life, introspection, time and place as important to the characters and story, sex before love or as a path to love, all ratings G-E

DNW: Noncon, Dubcon, BDSM, Mpreg, Omegaverse, Underage under age 16, Vore, Body horror, Genital torture, Scat, Petplay, Sexual humiliation or degradation, Oviposition, Unrequested pairings, Asexual or aromantic characters, Identity headcanons, Threesomes/moresomes, Teacher-student

Augustine the First/John Gaius

I am very into these men as old, old immortals with a tortured history ultimately governed by their devotion to one another. Give me a peek at their early days at Canaan House, an era when Augustine might have been more curious about his pre-Resurrection self. Give me the loneliness of their initial flight into deep space, when they realized they could never step foot on their homeworld again. Give me post-Harrow AU, where Augustine lives and John struggles with unfamiliar feelings of surely-not-guilt that Augustine was hurt badly enough to attempt John’s murder.

Tom Riddle | Voldemort Pairings (including crossover ships)

Likes: sane V, V who is tied to his Muggle roots (orphanage, socioeconomic class, London, etc.), V who uses blood supremacy as a tool to advance his personal power (vs. believing in it sincerely), V who feels/looks middle-aged by the first war, past Gellert/Albus, lovingly rendering Albus’ moral greyness

A note on names: I love either Tom Riddle or Voldemort as a name for the character, so you can’t offend me by picking one or the other. However, I would really appreciate it if you don’t write it such that “Tom” is a super secret special name that only his partner gets to call him because they’re so intimate/close when he goes by “Voldemort” in every other context. If the character uses both names, I would love to see that both names have context outside of this relationship, e.g. he uses “Tom” with multiple other friends/connections, or “Voldemort” is very explicitly established as a villain persona and not something he sees as his true identity.

Tom|Voldemort/Albus

I like that these two are both intelligent and ruthless in pursuing their own goals. Points for delving into the ways that Albus is not a great person, even if his political values and morals are generally decent.

Prompts:

- Voldemort and Albus have a strained respect during the first war, occasionally meeting to negotiate, and it becomes something more.
- Tom gets a Hogwarts professorship during one of his interviews, and through working together, they find common ground (which is maybe just fucking).

Tom|Voldemort/Gellert

I’m interested in Gellert and Tom as people on the opposite sides of a life-changing divide: becoming an active political radical/leading a large-scale conflict. They don’t have to get along, and in fact, I would love a fic that explores how their ideologies differ and why they might (or Tom, at least, especially as a younger man) start at active hatred for the other.

Prompts

- Voldemort visits or corresponds with Gellert in Nurmengard, grudging in his respect of Gellert’s magic but struggling with those aforementioned ideological differences. Gellert, having had time to reflect, urging Voldemort away from taking a similar path (and maybe also trying to swing a prison break). I would kill for smutty letters between them, here.
- Gellert escapes AU, either from Nurmengard or never dueling and losing to Albus, Voldemort stumbles across him in disguise during the world-travels portion of his life.

Tom|Voldemort Selfcest

I love this best when the defining point of the ship is how Voldemort processes and overcomes (or doesn’t) his own self-hatred. Horcrux or time-travel/AU self-cest welcome. I have a preference for peer-age (as opposed to adult V and diary/teen V) selfcest, e.g. Voldemort and a recent-ish horcrux, or time-travel to another adult version of himself, etc.

Tom|Voldemort/Edmund Pevensie:

These fucking boys are the best. I love that they face similar struggles in their young lives as they try to fit in and match an unreachable ideal. I love that they both are sucked into a magical world and react selfishly. I love that they’re both liars. I love that they have complicated relationships to age and mortality. And I want to see how, despite choosing different paths, their similarities might make for a strong connection.

Prompts:

- Tom ends up in Narnia, and he can use magic. How does this screw up the authority (or current quest) of Edmund the Just?
- Edmund and Tom meet much later in life (Ed and his sibs never die on the train). Magic feels like a hallucination to Edmund, a decade on. Tom knows it’s real, but a decade of working retail has sapped the wonder from it.

Tom|Voldemort/Darkling|Aleksander Morozova:

Bad immortal men with emotionally-significant name/identity issues!! For this, please find a way to keep the Darkling immortal, no matter how you mash up the AU—that’s what I love about them together, Darkling as an older immortal and Tom|V as a younger one.

Prompts:

- Darkling is a wizard known to have made a horcrux, perhaps more than one, and Voldemort tracks him down on a quest to learn more.
- Sun-summoner or shadow-summoner Voldemort, who Darkling seeks out as a companion and balm to his loneliness. Could be pre-Grishaverse canon timeline, or post, but preferably not during (aka no Alina, please!)
